Client care
Made to be kept. Cared for the same way.
Solenne pieces are made from solid metals and properly set stones, so they age well with very little effort. A few habits are all it takes to keep a gift wearable for decades.
Six habits worth keeping
Last on, first off
Put your jewellery on after fragrance, cream and hairspray, and take it off before swimming, sport or sleep. Most damage happens off the body, not on it.
Clean gently
Warm water, a drop of unscented soap and a soft brush is enough for gold and silver. Dry with a lint-free cloth before storing.
Respect the stone
Aquamarine, emerald, sapphire and tourmaline each have their own hardness. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and steam entirely on set stones.
Store separately
Keep each piece in its own pouch or in the signature box it arrived in, away from heat and direct light, so chains do not tangle or scratch.
Silver will tone
Sterling silver naturally darkens with air. A polishing cloth restores it in seconds — polish along the piece, never in circles.
Check the setting
Once a season, hold the piece to your ear and listen for movement. A stone that shifts should be looked at before it is worn again.
